Congratulations, you have chosen a noble, but demanding, career path.  But before you can become a physician, you must first be admitted to medical school.  Admission is not automatic;  nationwide, there are roughly 2.5 candidates for every position in medical school.  If you expect to be accepted by the medical school of your choice, you must make yourself the strongest candidate possible.  To learn about the process of being admitted to medical school--or any other professional school--follow the links.  And GOOD LUCK!
